Bolton & Menk: Senior Project Engineer - Site Design & Landscape Architecture

Bolton & Menk is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Site Design and Landscape Architect team in Iowa. This role involves collaborating on a variety of projects, especially sports and athletics, overseeing project planning, development, and completion in a profitable manner, and managing client relationships and business development in designated areas.

We desire a licensed engineer with experience in site design, client meetings, and project management from inception to construction across diverse projects. This position can be based in Ames, Cedar Rapids, or Des Moines, Iowa.

What You Will Be Doing:

Focus on site development projects, coordinating planning, development, and completion to ensure client satisfaction. Collaborate closely with Project Managers to understand and meet client needs.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Iowa
• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, including construction observation
• Experience in plan and specification development
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
• Grading plan development skills
• Stormwater management tools (HydroCAD, P8, MIDS)
• Erosion and Sediment Control expertise
• Storm sewer pipe design ability
• Experience with client contact and public presentations
