Leoforce in San Diego seeks an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead civil design and development projects. You will manage planning, design, and execution of infrastructure efforts while guiding a multidisciplinary team.

Your deep civil engineering expertise, CA PE license, and 15+ years of experience will drive client relationships, budgets, and successful project delivery in a dynamic firm environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• California PE license (required).
• 15+ years of directly relevant civil engineering experience (or 18 years total).
• 5+ years of management experience, including supervision of technical teams.
• Local experience in San Diego County and California jurisdictions preferred.
• Expertise with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Active participation in professional and community organizations encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage planning, design, and execution of civil infrastructure and land development projects.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, contracts, and technical staff for high-quality delivery.
• Prepare and review civil designs, bid documents, regulatory plans, and construction materials.
• Engage with clients, public agencies, and stakeholders to build long-term relationships.
• Contribute to business development through proposals, estimates, and client presentations.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers to foster a collaborative team culture.
