Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a motivated Project Civil Engineer for our Milton, DE office to contribute to a diverse portfolio of land development projects. The role involves leading design efforts, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and guiding projects from concept through construction.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license (DE) or can obtain it within six months and has at least six years of land development experience, with strong AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer license in Delaware or ability to obtain within six months.
• Minimum six years of progressive civil engineering experience, preferably in land development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Provide civil engineering design services including site layout, grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Design and coordinate paving, drainage, grading, water, and wastewater improvements.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and staff.
• Coordinate communication with clients, contractors, architects, and regulators.
• Manage projects from concept to construction, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and permitting requirements.
