RVE (an Ardurra company) seeks a Civil Project Engineer (Engineer IV) to join our Lehigh Valley team in Allentown. You will lead site design, planning and permitting, coordinating with project managers and engineers to deliver high-quality land development projects across mixed-use, healthcare, retail, residential and industrial sectors.

The role emphasizes collaboration, leadership of design challenges, and ensuring compliance with local codes and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or related discipline.
• PE license preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in land development including zoning analysis, land planning, grading, drainage, utility layout, and stormwater management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and leaders to take ownership of design challenges and drive successful projects.
• Perform all aspects of site design, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting to ensure quality and compliance.
• Prepare NPDES permitting documents and ESPC and PCSM plans.
• Design and review grading, drainage, and utility plans.
• Perform hydrology, stormwater, and earthwork calculations using AutoCAD Civil3D and design software.
• Prepare stormwater management, erosion and sedimentation control, and other reports for permitting and approvals.
• Research code requirements and perform site feasibility analyses.
• Review design deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Conduct construction inspection, observation, and site visits as needed.
• Prepare and submit land development plans to county and municipal authorities for permitting and review.
