Job summary

Ardurra’s Lehigh Valley office seeks a Civil Project Engineer (Engineer IV) to lead site design, planning and permitting for diverse land development projects in the Allentown area. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and regulators to deliver compliant designs and manage critical milestones.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering with 5–10 years’ experience in land development, strong communication skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• PE license preferred.
• 5–10 years of land development experience including zoning, land planning, grading, drainage, and stormwater management.
• Strong communication and ability to interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to support land development design projects.
• Lead and deliver high-quality site design, planning and permitting.
• Prepare NPDES permitting documents and SPCC/PCSM plans.
• Design and review grading, drainage and utility plans.
• Perform hydrology, stormwater and earthwork calculations using AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Prepare stormwater management and erosion control reports for permitting.
• Research codes and perform site feasibility analyses.
• Review design deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct construction inspection and site visits as needed.
• Submit land development plans to authorities for permitting and review.
