Job summary

RVE, an Ardurra company, seeks an Experienced CAD Designer for our Lehigh Valley office (Allentown). You’ll draft site/civil plans, support engineers, and lead CAD production while mentoring junior staff and ensuring adherence to standards.

The role involves complex design tasks, collaboration with project teams, and field data collection to understand existing conditions. Strong Civil 3D and drafting proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of drafting/design experience for land development projects.
• Ability to develop land development plans from concept through final construction documents.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop land development, erosion and sediment control, and post-construction stormwater plans.
• Utilize Civil 3D to manage surfaces, grading, profiles, corridors, and earthwork analyses.
• Prepare exhibits, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for design and permitting.
• Coordinate CAD and design tasks; mentor junior staff and review project documents.
• Maintain organized CAD drawings and project documentation.
