Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years of relevant progressive experience.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
• Strong reading, writing and math skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn company software.
• Willing to work in indoor and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and direct larger and more complex engineering projects.
• Lead and direct technical projects with responsibility for technical accuracy.
• Solve technically complex problems, using advanced techniques as needed.
• Prepare proposals and follow through.
• Administer contracts and manage project budgets and schedules.
• Ensure professional written and verbal communication with clients and project team.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Serve as technical advisor and develop staff and engineers.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities and client relationships.
• Strive to make each project profitable.
