Scion Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Litigation Specialist for a prestigious San Jose law firm.

This full-time, onsite role supports a sophisticated civil litigation practice spanning commercial, employment, real estate, and appellate matters. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years in California civil litigation, strong knowledge of state and federal filing rules, and proven ability to manage court filings, calendars, discovery, and trial readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive California civil litigation experience supporting attorneys in a law firm environment.
• Strong working knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure, California Rules of Court, Superior Court Local Rules, and federal filing procedures.
• Hands-on experience with California state and federal e-filing, litigation calendaring, document formatting, and TOC/TOA preparation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat Pro; NetDocuments experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage California state and federal court filings, including e-filing through TrueFiling, One Legal, and CM/ECF, while ensuring compliance with applicable court and local rules.
• Prepare, format, proofread, and finalize complex litigation documents, including motions, memoranda, appellate briefs, and TOC/TOA.
• Coordinate litigation calendars, deadlines, attorney communications, and client-related scheduling across multiple active matters.
• Support discovery, including requests and responses, document productions, Bates stamping, indexing, and organization of case materials.
• Assist with pleadings and motion practice, including routine notices, stipulations, proposed orders, exhibits, and supporting documentation.
• Support deposition and trial preparation, including deposition exhibits, witness logistics, trial notebooks, exhibit lists, and other trial materials.
