Scion Staffing, Inc. is conducting a search for an experienced Litigation Specialist on behalf of a San Jose, California law firm.

This is a full-time, direct-hire, onsite opportunity supporting a sophisticated civil litigation practice handling commercial litigation, employment law, real estate litigation, and appellate matters. The role combines senior-level administrative skills with paralegal-style litigation support, working closely with trial attorneys on complex California civil

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive California civil litigation experience in a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure, Rules of Court, and federal filing procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat Pro; NetDocuments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage CA state and federal court filings, including e-filing via TrueFiling, One Legal, and CM/ECF.
• Prepare, format, proofread, and finalize complex litigation documents, including motions, memoranda, appellate briefs, and TOC/TOA.
• Coordinate litigation calendars, deadlines, attorney communications, and client scheduling across multiple matters.
• Support discovery, including requests/responses, document productions, Bates stamping, indexing, and organization of case materials.
• Assist with pleadings and motion practice, including notices, stipulations, proposed orders, exhibits, and supporting documents.
• Support deposition and trial preparation, including exhibits, witness logistics, and trial notebooks.
