Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney in El Segundo, California to manage civil litigation from initial evaluation through resolution, develop strategic litigation plans, and represent clients in court and administrative hearings.

The role requires a J.D., active California Bar, 5+ years of civil litigation experience, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team in a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience with motions, discovery, depositions, hearings and trial preparation.
• Excellent research, writing, analytical and advocacy skills.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Excellent judgment and attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage complex matters while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Develop creative and strategic litigation strategies.
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis.
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Manage discovery and take and defend depositions.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings.
• Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial advocacy.
• Communicate proactively with clients and provide exceptional legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals on complex matters.
