BCG Attorney Search in El Segundo, CA seeks an energetic Employment Attorney to manage a plaintiff-focused caseload. The role emphasizes work/life balance and professional growth within a collegial environment.

The attorney will handle strategy, drafting, client communication, and depositions, collaborating with co-counsel while representing employees’ rights. Hybrid in-person/remote work is available.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active California bar in good standing.
• 3–4 years of substantive employment litigation experience.
• Experience taking/defending depositions and managing discovery.
• Knowledge of law and motion; experience arguing motions.
• Working knowledge of California Civil Procedure and Federal Rules.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy and actively manage a caseload.
• Collaborate with co-counsel and opposing counsel.
• Draft complaints, discovery, and motions.
• Communicate with clients and witnesses.
• Conduct discovery, including depositions.
• Attend court hearings independently.
• Draft and argue motions, including class certification.
• Work with expert witnesses in financial/statistical fields.
• Assist in trial preparations.
• Manage settlement negotiations and participate in mediation.
• Take cases to trial/arbitration as needed.
