Orionplacement in Sherman Oaks, CA, seeks a senior-level litigation attorney to own substantive civil matters within an established business law practice. You will draft pleadings, manage discovery, take depositions, and coordinate trial preparation while collaborating with partners and clients in a hybrid work model with in-office presence.

The role requires a California Bar license and 4+ years of substantive civil litigation experience, with strong writing, analytical, and client-relations

Responsibilities

• Manage substantive civil litigation matters with significant responsibility and autonomy.
• Draft and edit pleadings, motions, briefs, written discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Prepare for, take, and defend depositions.
• Conduct legal research and develop practical case strategies.
• Work directly with clients to evaluate disputes, provide legal guidance, and move cases toward resolution.
• Handle negotiations, mediations, hearings, and other key litigation events.
• Prepare matters for trial and participate in trial proceedings when appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues across a broad range of civil and business-related disputes.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year

Location: Sherman Oaks, California — hybrid schedule with associates generally working in the office at least 3 days per week. We value an in-office culture while offering additional flexibility for the right fit. This is not a fully remote position.

Note: An active California Bar license and at least 4+ years of substantive civil litigation experience are required. Candidates must have practical experience handling civil litigation matters and be prepared to contribute quickly.
