Job summary

Bohler in Bowie, MD is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex land development projects from concept to completion. You will balance design quality, client satisfaction, and financial performance while guiding internal teams and coordinating with stakeholders.

This role demands 10+ years in civil/site design, strong leadership, and experience with budgeting, contracts, and permitting. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required) and 10+ years in civil/site design and permitting for land development.
• Proven track record leading project teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring design quality and financial performance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater design software; PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project delivery, including design, permitting, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Serve as the primary client contact and ensure expectations are met through clear communication and proactive leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Assistant Project Managers and technical staff.
• Oversee financial performance, including contracts, invoicing, and change management.
• Present at public hearings, client meetings, and community sessions as needed.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on business development and account growth.
