Job summary

PG&E is seeking a field inspections professional to perform complex, longer-duration work within the Hydroelectric Generation System. You will manage safety and quality of construction, ensuring compliance with plans and regulations while coordinating with internal and contractor teams.

This role requires travel across the service territory and offers a hybrid work arrangement with headquarters decided by leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid California driver's license required.
• 6 years journeymen or equivalent experience in construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Performs field inspection services on complex, fluid and/or longer duration work activities for both internal and contractor-performed jobs within the PG&E Hydroelectric Generation System.
• Verifies and enforces PG&E contractor safety standards and oversight procedures at the jobsite.
• Conducts safety orientations, tailboards and JSA development to address hazards.
• Coordinates with safety, project management, engineering and field personnel to mitigate hazards and ensure compliance.
• Prepares field documentation, including inspection reports, daily logs, photos and RFIs.
