Job summary

Epstein seeks a Project Manager to join our Civil Engineering team in Chicago. This role leads multidisciplinary civil infrastructure projects spanning transportation, site development, and water/wastewater systems, mentoring junior staff and coordinating with clients and agencies.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of civil engineering experience, a PE license, and strong leadership in managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• 10+ years of civil engineering experience with transportation, site development, and water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary projects and coordinating with clients and agencies.
• Strong knowledge of civil design standards, permitting, and plan production.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager for civil infrastructure projects including transportation, site development, and utilities
• Lead design and preparation of contract documents for roadways and site improvements
• Manage projects from inception through completion including scope, schedule, staffing, budget, and quality control
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, contractors, agencies, and other engineering disciplines
• Provide technical leadership and perform quality reviews of engineering deliverables
• Mentor junior engineers and designers and assist with proposals and business development
