Job summary

CES Consultants is seeking a Senior Construction Manager in Miami to oversee municipal capital improvement projects from planning through warranty. You will coordinate with City departments, consultants, and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of roadways, drainage, and facilities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and 8+ years of construction management, including municipal projects, with proficiency in e-Builder/Procore and Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible construction-management experience, incl. 3+ years managing municipal capital projects.
• Experience administering construction contracts, reviewing payments, evaluating change orders and claims.
• Proficiency with electronic project-management/document-control systems (e-Builder/Procore) and Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage Capital Improvements Program construction projects from pre-construction through closeout and warranty.
• Coordinate with City departments, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout delivery.
• Prepare and administer work orders, documentation, and contract-related communications.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, quality, safety, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Maintain records in the City’s project management system and provide updates to management.
