Stocks General Contractors LLC is seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to oversee field operations across underground utility and civil construction projects. This role requires leadership to manage multiple projects, guide field teams, and uphold accountability for performance and results.

You will coordinate schedules, labor, equipment, and safety compliance while ensuring work meets specifications and quality standards. Travel across the DC/MD/VA region is expected.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in civil construction or underground utilities.
• Proven experience managing field operations and leading teams.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and methods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations across multiple projects or large-scale job sites.
• Lead and support foremen and field crews to ensure efficient execution.
• Plan and coordinate project schedules, labor, and equipment.
• Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor job site safety and enforce OSHA and company policies.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Track project progress, production, and performance.
• Identify and resolve issues to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
