Job summary

CareerUSA is seeking anEstimator/Senior Estimator to focus on competitive bids for piping to sewage treatment plants, site work, and utilities. The role requires 5+ years in civil estimating, with strong knowledge of water and wastewater systems. Proficiency with HeavyBid and related tools is essential for success.

You will work with project teams to develop accurate cost estimates, review subcontractor pricing, assess risks, and submit competitive bids that meet schedule and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of estimating and bid preparation experience in civil/site work.
• Proficiency with HeavyBid/HeavyJob, Procore, Primavera P6, BlueBeam, PlanSwift.
• Ability to perform accurate quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
• Strong communication and project coordination skills.
• Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bid preparation for water and wastewater treatment projects, including site work.
• Quantity takeoffs for all project components.
• Vendor and subcontractor coordination for competitive pricing.
• Cost analysis and risk assessment to ensure accurate bids.
• Develop project schedules and mentor junior team members.
• Ensure bids meet client requirements and company standards.
