Job summary

Allan Myers Inc. seeks an experienced Estimator to prepare and complete estimates for assigned projects across disciplines. You will review drawings, specs, and historical data, perform takeoffs, price labor, materials, and equipment, and coordinate with purchasing and project teams.

The role is on-site at the regional office with occasional travel for pre-bid meetings, site visits, and training. A B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 4+ years of estimating experience are

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field; continuing education in construction is desirable.
• Minimum of 4 years of construction estimating, operations, or engineering experience.
• OSHA 10 hour certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete estimates for assigned projects across multiple disciplines.
• Review drawings, specifications, and historical data to develop takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Project teams for quotations and scope.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and travel to job sites as needed.
• Follow safety programs and support cost control through value engineering.
