Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Civil Engineering Technician to support Integrated BESS and other infrastructure projects. The role focuses on site development, grading, drainage, and utility layouts using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Bentley MicroStation.

The Senior Technician provides technical guidance, training, and may supervise a team of technicians to ensure quality and alignment with project objectives.

Qualifications

• Typically a minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Associate/Bachelor degree requirements noted as preferred.
• Pre-employment onboarding requirements may include background check, drug screen, driving record.

Responsabilités

• Functions as a senior engineering technician, technical design specialist, and/or supervisor.
• Applies advanced technical expertise to solve complex design challenges within a specific engineering discipline.
• Contributes to the development of innovative engineering solutions.
• Uses CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling tools with standardized procedures to create and modify technical drawings.
• Provides consultation, training, and oversight to other engineering technicians.
• May supervise an assigned team to ensure quality and consistency across outputs.
