NextGenEnergyJobs is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Civil Engineering – Land Development in Miami, FL. The role focuses on leading design, permitting, and client coordination for multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial projects.

You will supervise project teams, ensure QA/QC compliance, and maintain strong relationships with developers, architects, contractors, and public agencies to deliver complex land development programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• 7+ years of experience in multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial Land Development in Miami‑Dade County.

Responsibilities

• Act as the go‑to authority for report writing and civil engineering design including drainage and utilities.
• Lead permitting and agency coordination throughout Miami‑Dade County and ensure compliance with local requirements.
• Review and complete assignments using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ICPR, and other design tools.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance on Land Development projects.
• Oversee QA/QC processes to ensure high quality deliverables and engineering standards.
• Coordinate civil design with multi-disciplinary external consultant teams and manage client communications.
• Edit plans per agency/muncipal/client requirements and maintain project status with the team.
• Support the financial objectives and overall project success.
