Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Civil Engineering to join our collaborative team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role leads design, permitting, and client development efforts across premier land development projects.

You will partner cross-functionally with industry leadership on a variety of projects, overseeing site layout, drainage, and infrastructure while driving business development and staff growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of related site/civil engineering experience with land development focus.
• Professional Engineering license.
• Experience designing and overseeing site layout, grading, drainage, and infrastructure from concept through completion.
• Strong client development and client management abilities.
• Proficiency of AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.
• Active participation in professional organizations.
• Experience in technical and proposal writing; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouses, and mixed-use projects for public and private clients.
• Collaborate with office leadership to develop growth plans and staff utilization.
• Lead site/civil efforts on various sites from concept through completion.
• Lead storm water management design and SWPPP preparation.
• Integrate geotechnical and environmental engineering with land development.
• Performs other duties as requested.
