B.H. Inc. in Vernal, Utah, is seeking a full-time Civil Engineering Manager to lead an engineering team on moderate to complex projects from our Vernal office.

Salary is highly negotiable and could exceed the range of $140,000 - $180,000 DOE. Perks include weekly pay, health, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k with match, and liberal PTO. Candidates must hold a PE license and have 7+ years of civil engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering and an active PE license, backed by 7+ years of experience.
• Extensive experience managing public and private clients on medium-to-complex projects and navigating permitting processes.
• Proven ability to lead and build engineering teams while self-managing workloads and schedules.
• Skilled in business development, cost/proposal preparation, and managing sub-consultants.
• Strong working knowledge of project management tools (Asana, Trend Logs) and Civil Design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams across varied projects.
• Perform calculations and create construction plans and details.
• Coordinate with owners, sub-consultants, and permitting jurisdictions.
• Assist in business development and contract management with sub-consultants.
• Ensure compliance with design codes and governmental regulations.
