Job summary

EWI Recruitment is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead planning, design, and delivery of major water resources and conveyance projects in Southern California. This role focuses on water infrastructure, pipelines, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to meet client needs in both public and private sectors.

The successful candidate will mentor engineers, manage budgets and schedules, review technical reports, and support business development.

Qualifications

• Requires CA PE license and 20+ years of civil engineering design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Agricultural, Water Resources, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and delivery of water resources infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical oversight for water conveyance systems and pipelines.
• Prepare and review reports, drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring quality, budget and schedule targets.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to engineers, EITs and project staff.
• Review designs and construction methods for compliance with standards.
• Engage in client meetings and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Support proposal development and business growth initiatives.
• Provide engineering support during construction and field activities.
