Job summary

GBA is seeking a Civil Engineer V to serve as a trusted technical authority for potable wastewater infrastructure in Austin, TX. You will lead complex projects, establish design standards, mentor engineers, and help shape the future of our Wastewater Environment practice.

You will collaborate with project teams, review engineering calculations, models, and reports, and support business development through proposals and client engagements. A PE license and 10+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• PE license is required.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for complex potable Wastewater projects.
• Lead design oversight and QA/QC across multiple projects.
• Review calculations, models, plans, and reports for accuracy.
• Develop innovative engineering solutions for Wastewater infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers and participate in business development and client pursuits.
• Represent GBA with clients, regulators, and industry groups.
