Hanwha QCELLS in Cartersville, GA, seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to own facility civil and infrastructure assets as operations commence. You will lead field work, manage underground utilities, and coordinate with contractors to ensure reliability and compliance.

We value 10+ years in heavy civil construction, experience with industrial facilities, and the ability to bridge English and Korean teams. This role is on-site at our Cartersville facility with a focus on long-term infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered.
• 10+ years in heavy civil construction, underground utilities, drainage, and site development.
• Experience supporting large-scale industrial facilities through construction and transition to operations.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary contractors (civil, structural, mechanical, piping).
• Knowledge of Georgia building codes, OSHA, and ASCE standards.
• Bilingual English/Korean preferred to coordinate with leadership and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide Civil/Infrastructure engineering support for underground utilities, site and drainage.
• Manage field verification, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Plan preventive maintenance and field inspections of civil assets.
• Coordinate subcontractors to align field work with approved plans and codes.
• Support testing and commissioning activities for infrastructure systems.
• Transfer construction knowledge into ongoing facility operations.
