Job summary

WSP USA in Denver, CO is seeking an Experienced Professional, Civil Engineer to join the Colorado Transportation team. The role focuses on due diligence, investigation, permitting, design, and construction support for roads, bridges, dams, and water infrastructure.

You will work with engineers, planners, and technical staff, producing reports and visualizations, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on public and private sector projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 3–5 years of post‑education experience in engineering.
• Engineer in Training Certification.
• Knowledge of civil engineering design, permitting, and construction processes.
• Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, and analyze data from sites, surveys, GIS data for project development.
• Support design, planning and permitting to meet applicable standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and planners to ensure safety and functionality.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and calculations for presentations.
