Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. seeks a Civil Engineer to support our Water sector in Baton Rouge or Metairie, LA. You will drive municipal drainage and water/wastewater design from concept through detailed drawings and construction specifications.

Lead design teams, prepare reports and calculations, and coordinate with agencies while mentoring junior staff. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and related drainage tools is essential; a Louisiana PE license is required.

Qualifications

• 8 years or more of relevant experience.
• BS degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE License in Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Lead a design team in the preparation of reports, design calculations and drawings.
• Oversee contract specifications and construction quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with clients to identify needs and develop solutions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, regional and municipal guidelines.
