Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to design, build, and commission infrastructure for rocket facilities in Texas, including the McGregor site. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, develop drawings and reports, and ensure compliance with aerospace and building standards.

The role requires a civil/structural background, PE preferred, and hands-on experience with design software and analysis tools.

Qualifications

Strong communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Ability to work with cross‑disciplinary teams and contractors.
Experience with design and build of civil/structural infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead the project team, consulting engineers, and contractors throughout the civil/structural engineering process.
Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial projects.
Perform civil/structural design and analysis for steel and concrete structures.
Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors.
Manage civil and structural aspects of construction projects.
Interact with contractors, fabricators, owners, and clients.
Provide onsite engineering inspections and field observations.
Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field.
Provide technical support to ensure compliance with standards and codes.
