Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking a Senior Staff Civil Engineer to join its collaborative team in Southern California. The role focuses on planning, design, and permitting of civil, land development, and infrastructure projects across mixed-use developments and other sites.

You will contribute to site/civil design, grading, drainage, and stormwater management while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team on challenging projects and local permitting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Earned or progressing EIT; PE is preferred.
• 3+ years of site/civil design experience including grading, drainage and storm water management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with prep and modification of reports, plans, and design documents using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Analyze soil, terrain, hydrology, and geologic data to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with team members and support permitting processes.
• Contribute to project tasks and assignments as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested.
