Senior Civil Engineer - Project Manager - Land Development – Tampa, FL

Halff has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with a background in Land Development for our Tampa, FL office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects, developing plans, specifications, and other contract documents for residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects, including paving, grading, drainage, water lines, sanitary sewers, and related items. The candidate will act as the primary contact for clients, oversee project design, manage staff, and mentor less experienced team members. Strong communication skills with support staff, clients, and governmental agencies are essential. The role involves marketing, project reporting, forecasting, and client invoicing. There is potential for growth into a Team Leader role.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed PE in Florida or ability to obtain license within 6 months
• 10+ years of experience in Land Development
• Ability to work independently and make effective decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interface with clients effectively
• Experience in commercial or industrial land development is a plus
