We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer Project Manager to join our Public Works Group. This role offers an opportunity to be a key member of our collaborative and highly qualified team.

Qualifications:

• Ability to deliver excellent customer service to the public, development community, and city staff.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Effective management of schedules, scope, budgets, and project teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
• Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and preparing engineering reports, plans, and estimates, including maps, charts, and profiles for streets and utilities.
• Ability to work independently on project management and technical tasks.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities:

• Manage public works projects, including client liaison, agency coordination, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Lead project teams of multidisciplinary technical staff.
• Act as a liaison between city staff and technical groups.
• Make presentations to clients, city councils, and boards.
• Prepare engineering project proposals, task orders, and reports for City Council.
• Develop and implement projects, policies, and procedures.
• Support public outreach efforts, including presentations and workshops.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.

Education / Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering design and project management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE registration preferred.

Compensation: Competitive wages with a strong benefits package. Salary range: $140,000 - $155,000.
