Job summary

GEI Consultants, Inc seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to provide leadership across our energy infrastructure, transportation, and buildings practices. You will guide planning, design, and construction with a strong emphasis on client relationships and business development.

The role requires 15+ years in civil engineering with a decade in project management, PE license, and proven ability to lead substantial projects and client accounts. Hybrid or flexible work arrangements are supported.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of civil engineering experience with 10+ years in a project management role.
• Professional Engineering license required.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field; M.S. preferred.
• Experience with agency permitting, contract and construction management, and contract plan/spec preparation.
• Ability to testify before local boards when necessary.
• Senior leader with a track record of client-focused, practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide program or project level management and technical guidance for planning, design, and construction of civil projects.
• Maintain high visibility through regular client contact and industry engagement.
• Develop business by leveraging relationships with civil engineering clients and infrastructure programs.
• Assist in recruiting, mentoring, and training staff.
