Job summary

BakerHicks seeks an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support our Civil & Structural team during a peak project delivery period. The role can be based in London, Warwick or Manchester with hybrid working.

You will take ownership of defined design packages, deliver them with minimal supervision and coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams. Initial work is in the Power sector, with opportunities to contribute to nuclear or defence projects subject to security clearance.

Qualifications

• Broad civil engineering capability across site and infrastructure elements.
• Experience with drainage, earthworks, pavement design and external works.
• Knowledge of 3D underground services coordination.
• Ability to deliver defined design packages independently.
• Ideally Chartered or Incorporated Member of ICE.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering design packages across a broader civils scope.
• Take ownership of defined work packages and progress them independently.
• Apply technical knowledge across drainage, earthworks, pavement design, external works, levels, utilities and associated infrastructure.
• Coordinate design information and interfaces across wider project teams and disciplines.
• Use design tools including MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage and Civil 3D.
• Support project delivery across infrastructure, power, buildings or development environments.
