Job summary

Veraj Data Mind Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager with Heavy Road-Highway Construction and/or multi-use trail experience. This person will work under the supervision of a Georgia registered Professional Engineer, PE.

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (MANDATORY), 5+ years of experience managing road infrastructure projects, and proficiency in MS Project, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (MANDATORY).
• Over 5 years of experience managing road infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in MS Project & Bluebeam/AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings.
• Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized and can meet stringent deadlines.
• Passed the EIT exam is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan all construction operations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and quality control.
• Prepare subcontractor agreement for sub-contractors.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Prepare Request for Information as needed.
• Prepare pay applications/invoices.
• Review and approved invoices from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Locate and research public bid offering for potential projects that are ideal for the company.
• Interpret drawings and technical documents in order to prepare estimates.
• Complete bid take offs by estimating material, equipment and labor quantity needed to complete the proposed project.
• Unit price cost analysis.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain and update construction related materials prices database.
• Coordinate to prepare bid proposal packages.
• Prepare estimate summary for bids and complete bid documents.
• Attend bid openings and review post bid information to assure scopes of work is correct and accurate.
