Wilson Engineers is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer - Project Manager to join our Reno or Minden, Nevada office. This role focuses on leading civil projects, coordinating teams, and serving as the client liaison on water, wastewater, and related municipal engineering initiatives.

With a PE license and at least eight years of experience, you will oversee design, analysis, and construction documentation while ensuring compliance with building codes and standards in a fast-growing firm known for

Qualifications

• Requires a Civil Engineering degree and PE license.
• Minimum of eight years of professional experience in civil/municipal projects.
• Ability to manage staff and lead project teams.
• Strong reading/interpretation of construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills and familiarity with CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, and team coordination to ensure successful project delivery.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and coordinate construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Provide technical leadership and support to project teams for high-quality design and documentation.
• Perform building code analysis and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Conduct quality control reviews of internal and consultant deliverables.
• Coordinate construction administration activities, including submittal reviews, RFIs, site observations, and inspections.
• Support business development through client presentations, proposals, and relationship building.
• Maintain organized project records and stay current on building codes and industry best practices.
