Job summary

Baxter & Woodman in Naperville, IL is seeking a Construction Services Senior Engineer/Project Manager to lead a range of roadway, bridge, and utility projects from our Naperville office.

The role requires a BS in Civil/Construction Eng, a PE license, and 10+ years of progressive construction experience, including IDOT/Tollway work. You will mentor staff and manage complex projects, interfacing with clients and public agencies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven progressive experience in construction engineering.
• IDOT/Tollway experience required.
• Past IDOT or Illinois Tollway project experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site observation of work, repairs and tests as needed.
• Coordinate construction activities with clients, inspectors, contractors and public agencies.
• Maintain job site records of daily reports, meeting minutes, drawings, and pay requests.
• Oversee work of others and assign work to staff.
• Mentor employees for career advancement.
• Project management duties as assigned.
