Baxter & Woodman seeks a Construction Engineer IV to oversee municipal water, wastewater, and transportation construction projects across Central Illinois. You will observe on-site work, mentor staff, and coordinate with contractors to ensure quality and schedule adherence.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil/Construction Engineering, 10+ years IDOT or municipal experience, and travel within the service area.

Formación

• B.S. degree in Civil/Construction Engineering from an accredited program.
• 10+ years experience in IDOT construction or municipal work.
• Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman’s service area (own transportation).
• Ability to independently handle a variety of ongoing tasks and responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct on-site observation of work, repairs, and testing, as needed.
• Prepare project scope, fees and Work Order documents to IDOT.
• Manage multiple projects and mentor staff.
• Maintain job site records including Daily Reports, meeting minutes, shop drawings, and pay requests.
• Review and request adjustments of compensation and/or contract time.
