Job summary

LeoForce in Lexington, KY seeks a Permanent Senior Engineer - Project Manager with CCR and landfill experience to lead solid waste projects. A PE license is preferred and PMP is a plus; relocation benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible engineering experience, preferably in solid waste management, landfill, or CCR.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in an engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards related to CCR and landfill.
• Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and budget.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
• Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of CCR and landfill projects, including planning, design, implementation, monitoring, and completion.
• Develop and implement project plans, risk management plans, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project progression and completion within budget and timeline.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and prepare technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards related to CCR and landfill.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
• Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts.
• Oversee contract administration, including tendering, negotiation, and contractor selection.
• Continuously monitor and report on project status to stakeholders and senior management.
