Job summary

Cromwell Architects Engineers is seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer for land development projects in Arkansas. You will design sites including parking, grading, utilities and stormwater systems, and oversee projects from concept through completion while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients and agencies, managing multiple design projects, performing site visits, and ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project delivery.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required.
• Arkansas PE is a plus but not required.
• Experience with stormwater detention/retention and LID practices is a plus.
• Proficient in design and permitting stormwater management and erosion control.

Responsibilities

• Design sites (parking, sidewalks, grading, utilities, erosion control, stormwater) for new and renovated buildings.
• Ensure compliance with stormwater regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
• Meet with clients and government agencies during design processes.
• Manage design projects from conception to completion based on experience.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and safety.
