Job summary

Top Tier Resources, on behalf of a well-known Engineering and Architecture firm, seeks a Civil Engineer to lead design and oversight of construction projects, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and stormwater stewardship.

You will manage design projects from concept to completion, engage with clients and agencies, perform site visits, and prepare permits and reports using Civil 3D and MS Office in a collaborative, on-site team environment in Fayetteville, AR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 5–7+ years’ experience in civil engineering.
• PE license or PE in progress.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with stormwater design and permitting.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with DoD or large campus industrial projects is a plus.

Our client, a well-known Engineering and Architecture firm, is growing and adding to the team. This Civil Engineer is responsible for designing and overseeing construction projects and ensuring they meet safety standards and regulations including addressing environmental impacts.

Responsibilities

• Manage design projects from conception to completion.
• Meet with clients and government agencies throughout the design process.
• Comply with local, state, and federal stormwater regulations (detention/retention).
• Design sites (parking, sidewalks, grading, utilities, erosion control, stormwater management) are associated with new and renovated buildings.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• 5-7+ years’ experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) required or PE in progress.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Autodesk Civil 3D
• Proficient at design and permitting stormwater management facilities and erosion control.
• Experience in large campus industrial work is a plus.
• Federal work experience with DoD and industrial projects.
