Energy Northwest in Richland, WA seeks an experienced Civil Engineer/Supervisor to lead civil and structural design activities for the Xe 100 advanced reactor project at a brownfield site.

This senior role oversees owner’s engineer activities, supports site licensing, and participates in design reviews and progressive design/build contracts, while coordinating with licensing, safety analysis, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Formación

• Requires a B.S. degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of six years of related technical experience; a maximum of two years may be fulfilled by a master’s degree.
• PE license or SRO license may be considered as equivalent to the Bachelor’s degree requirement.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise employees using Energy Northwest policies and procedures; review and approve work generated by the group and the owner’s engineer.
• Develop personnel strategies to achieve the department’s vision and ensure engineers maintain qualification.
• Develop the group budget with the Engineering Manager and monitor progress against the plan; implement corrective actions as needed; manage budget deviations.
• Provide input to the manager on schedule, staffing, and long-term planning.

Educación

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field

Six years of related technical experience

Professional Engineer (PE) license or SRO license (equivalent)
