SLR Consulting (Americas) is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead mining and industrial projects from our Reno-area office. You will mentor junior staff and direct project workflows, ensuring high-quality designs, calculations, and technical reports under supervision of a principal engineer.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, travel for domestic and international projects, and contribute to a growing environmental and engineering practice. Long-term career growth is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in NV or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and hydrology/hydraulics or geotechnical design software.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own projects in a technical capacity for mining and industrial work.
• Perform engineering work and prepare calculations and reports.
• Visit project sites for data collection, inspections, and client coordination.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and software listed to design and compute.
• Prepare memos and calculation packages documenting work performed.
