Job summary

SLR Consulting (Americas) seeks a Senior Civil Engineer for our Reno, NV office to lead mining and industrial projects. You will mentor juniors, manage project workflows, and deliver designs, calculations, and reports under a principal engineer.

You'll work with multidisciplinary teams, travel domestically, and help expand SLR’s capabilities locally and globally while contributing to sustainable solutions that protect the environment and communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Nevada or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proficient in Civil 3D; familiarity with hydrology/hydraulics software advantageous.
• Willing to travel by car and air for domestic projects; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own technical projects in mining and industrial settings.
• Perform designs, calculations, and prepare specifications and technical reports.
• Visit project sites for data collection, inspection, and monitoring.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete work.
