Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC in Hawaii seeks a seasoned Civil Engineer to support Maui Space Surveillance operations for the 15th Space Surveillance Squadron. You will assess infrastructure, analyze data, and provide actionable recommendations to Government leadership.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Government personnel and contractors, evaluating environmental impacts, cost estimation, and ensuring projects meet standards, deadlines, and mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• 8+ years of civil engineering experience, preferably facilities/infrastructure.
• Experience supporting DoD installations and MILCON projects.
• Familiarity with MILCON/FSRM and related infrastructure requirements.
• Proficiency with CAD/AutoCAD or similar software.
• Knowledge of DoD civil engineering policies including AFI 32-1001.
• Experience with BUILDER SMS or similar asset management systems.
• Strong planning, budgeting, and regulatory compliance knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Provide civil engineering analysis and recommendations for 15 SpSS facilities and infrastructure.
• Review BUILDER SMS data and prioritize repairs and maintenance.
• Evaluate contractor performance and identify deficiencies and risks.
• Develop cost estimates and design/construction schedules.
• Coordinate with US Space Force and contractors to minimize mission impact.
• Prepare permits and regulatory documentation for MILCON/FSRM projects.
• Review designs through all project phases and advise Government.
• Monitor UFCs and DoD regulations; recommend updates as needed.
