Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer 4 to join our Cincinnati, OH office. You will provide senior technical leadership on complex civil projects for industrial and energy clients, leading stormwater design, regulatory compliance, permitting, and hydraulics modeling.

You will mentor teams, engage with clients, and ensure project delivery meets safety, regulatory, and quality objectives while utilizing Civil 3D and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 16+ years of civil, environmental or construction engineering experience.
• Professional registration or certification, as applicable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with civil/environmental design and construction package development.
• Project management including planning, coordination, scheduling, budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead major consulting assignments aligned to client needs and provide expert-level technical consulting.
• Coordinate across multiple projects, codes, and regulatory frameworks to deliver client value.
• Develop team technical competence and ensure adherence to codes and professional standards.
• Direct and support staff to execute multiple projects with quality and on schedule.
• Mentor staff and align them with market and client needs; foster growth and innovation.
• Represent the firm in external organizations and build client relationships.
• Lead design, permitting, procurement support, and act as Engineer of Record as needed.
• Oversee contractor management and construction quality control including field testing.
