Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer 4 to provide senior technical leadership on diverse projects in Cincinnati, OH. You will lead stormwater design, regulatory compliance and permitting, and hydraulic and hydrologic modeling efforts while mentoring staff and guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver value.

The role emphasizes safety, client communication, and applying Civil 3D and related tools to achieve compliant, high-quality results for industrial and energy clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 16+ years of civil, environmental, or construction engineering experience.
• Professional registration or certification, as applicable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Applies emotional intelligence to achieve higher impact on project team and client communications.
• Significant experience with civil and/or environmental design and construction package development.
• Project management experience involving planning, coordination, schedule and budget.
• Experience supporting complex civil engineering projects for industrial and/or energy clients.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D for civil engineering design and development.

Responsibilities

• Lead major consulting assignments in your area of expertise and ensure alignment with client needs.
• Direct and coach teams to deliver high-quality work across multiple projects.
• Mentor staff and support growth and innovation in practice areas.
• Lead design, permitting, and construction support activities as Engineer of Record.
• Communicate effectively with clients, partners, regulators, and stakeholders.
