Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer in Frisco, Texas. The role involves working on municipal and private projects—site design, water main design, and related infrastructure—across inception to completion.

You will design plans, collaborate with in-house and subconsultant teams, and participate in meetings with city staff. A PE license and 8–15 years of civil engineering experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• 8 - 15 years of experience in the civil engineering field.
• Professional Engineering License (PE)

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, complete, and manage a variety of municipal and some private civil engineering projects from inception to completion with oversight from senior engineers.
• Prepare and develop construction plans and documents.
• Collaborate with Farnsworth Group disciplines and subconsultants.
• Occasionally attend project, city staff, and board meetings.

• Manage, support, and build relationships with clients and agencies.
• Conduct project field observations and assessments.
