Job summary

Osborn Engineering is seeking a senior civil engineer to join our Columbus team. The successful candidate will bring 10–15 years of experience across planning, design, development, and construction phases for a variety of projects.

You will lead client relationships, prepare budgets, coordinate multi-disciplinary staff, and mentor junior engineers while delivering safe, sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• PE License (Preferred)
• 10–15 years of design experience
• Experience with sewer, water, stormwater analysis
• Expert level proficiency in AutoCAD
• Civil3D, Map3D, GIS and/or BIM experience
• Ability to coordinate work within a multi-disciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Envision client understanding of projects and develop a Scope of Services based on that understanding.
• Prepare contract proposals and project budgets.
• Maintain positive client and regulatory agency relationships.
• Manage, design, develop, create, and maintain small through large-scale projects.
• Develop and present project-specific or technical presentations to clients and internal staff.
• Monitor progress and compile project status reports.
• Mentor staff and promote a positive work culture.
• Direct the work efforts of engineers, designers, and CAD drafters.
