Osborn Engineering seeks a seasoned Roadway Engineer with 10–20 years of transportation project experience for our Columbus, Ohio office. You will work under the Transportation Engineering Manager, collaborating with Directors and PMs to meet client needs and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE License in the State of Ohio is required.
• ODOT Prequalification’s preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with AASHTO and ODOT Design Criteria.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Active team member performing roadway designs for various Ohio projects.
• Perform all aspects of roadway design including alignments, drainage, MT, sections, markings and signing.
• Develop and modify engineering techniques and procedures as needed.
• Oversee entry-level engineer design activities.
• Coordinate with clients and sub-consultants on current projects.
• Possible field observation and RFI responses during construction.
